Mark Solms of Photo Ahead Photography has been a part of the off-road community since the early 80’s as a racer, pit support and spectator. In 2004 Mark decided to start Photo Ahead to cover the desert racing events that he attended.

Photo Ahead became licensed by SCORE International to cover their races state side as well as in Baja. Mark also covers BITD, SNORE, MORE & MDR Series. Many of the images you see on the site have been used for various marketing purposes.

Mark is equipped with Canon Professional Rated equipment including remote cameras. A state of the art photo lab processes all prints and posters purchased. Photo prints are developed on Kodak’s Professional Endura paper high-end photo laser printers.
